Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and Voyage Collection, operated by Live Lokal Ltd (company number SC684660) (“we”, “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the www.voyagecollection.co.uk website and any related media, mobile-optimised pages, or booking functionality (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Site.
We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically.
The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. The Site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
The Site is operated from the United Kingdom. If you access the Site from outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws where they apply.
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, design, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (the “Content”), and the trademarks, service marks, and logos it contains (the “Marks”), are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom and, where relevant, other jurisdictions.
The Content and Marks are provided on the Site for your information and personal use only. No part of the Site, and no Content or Marks, may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, distributed, sold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission.
Provided you are eligible to use the Site, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access the Site and to view or print any Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted to you remain reserved.
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:
If any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any current or future use of the Site.
You may be required to register for an account to make or manage bookings through the Site. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username or account we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be inappropriate, misleading, or otherwise objectionable.
Voyage Collection manages short-term rental and serviced accommodation properties on behalf of property owners. Any services or properties described on this website are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Bookings made through this website are processed via our third-party booking and payment platform. When you make a booking, you will be directed to complete payment through that platform, and your booking is also subject to that platform’s own terms of use.
Voyage Collection may act as booking agent on behalf of the relevant property owner. A contract for accommodation is formed once your booking has been confirmed through the booking platform, not simply by submitting an enquiry or registering an account on this website.
We take reasonable care in selecting our booking and payment platform providers but are not responsible for any errors, downtime, or issues arising from those third-party systems.
Prices shown on this website are provided for guidance and may vary by season, availability, and length of stay. Final pricing is confirmed at the point of booking through our booking platform.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Prices already confirmed as part of a completed booking will not change.
All payments are processed securely through our third-party booking and payment platform. We do not store your card details.
Cancellation, deposit, and refund terms are set out separately in our Cancellation Policy, which is presented to you at the time of booking and forms part of your booking agreement.
You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make it available. As a user of the Site, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for anyone we believe, in our reasonable discretion, has breached this section.
Any questions, comments, suggestions, or feedback you send us about the Site (“Submissions”) are treated as non-confidential. You agree that we may use and act on any Submissions freely, without any obligation to you, and you waive any claim against us for our use of them.
This website may include links to third-party websites, including our booking and payment platform. These links are provided for convenience only.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or reliability of third-party websites or platforms. Using third-party websites and platforms is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Any purchases you make through a third-party website are a matter exclusively between you and that third party, and we accept no responsibility for them.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:
Your use of the Site, including registering an account or making a booking, involves the collection and processing of personal data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect, use, and protect your data, including your rights under UK data protection law. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
This website uses cookies to support functionality, analyse usage, and, where applicable, support marketing. Please see our Cookie Policy for further information.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe material on the Site infringes copyright or another intellectual property right you own, please contact us using the details below with: (1) identification of the material you believe infringes your rights and its location on the Site; (2) identification of the right you say is infringed and evidence of your ownership or authority to act; and (3) your contact details.
We will investigate valid complaints and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question. Please note that knowingly making a false claim may expose you to legal liability.
These Terms and Conditions remain in effect while you use the Site. We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion and without liability, to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, including for breach of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
If your account is suspended or terminated, you must not attempt to register a new account under your own name, a false name, or on behalf of a third party. We also reserve the right to pursue any other legal remedy available to us.
We may change, update, or remove content or functionality on the Site at any time, without notice, and without obligation to maintain or update any part of it.
We do not guarantee the Site will be available at all times. The Site may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, technical issues, or matters outside our control, and we will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such downtime.
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Site (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle it, and you and we each submit to that jurisdiction.
The Site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to descriptions, pricing, availability, or other information. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to update information on the Site at any time, without prior notice.
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Your use of the Site is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Site, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the Site’s content, or that of any linked third-party website, and we accept no liability for errors or omissions in that content, for any interruption or unavailability of the Site, or for any unauthorised access to our systems, to the extent permitted by law. We do not endorse, and accept no responsibility for, any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through the Site.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Site.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You agree to indemnify us, our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and employees against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or reasonable expense (including legal costs) arising from: your use of the Site; your breach of these Terms and Conditions; or your infringement of the rights of any third party, to the extent such loss arises from your own unlawful conduct or breach.
We maintain certain data you transmit to the Site for the purpose of operating the Site and managing your bookings. While we perform routine backups, you are responsible for any data you transmit or that relates to your own activity on the Site, and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data except as set out in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
By using the Site, submitting a booking, or contacting us by email or web form, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. You agree that any agreements, notices, and disclosures we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to do so later.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another organisation, and we will notify you if this happens. We are not liable for any failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us, other than as expressly set out in the Bookings and Services section above.
